About a week ago I got my first potters wheel. A dream come true, always wanted to play with clay. While my painting is progressing I am endlessly experimenting with new materials for the soul purpose of combining the unconventional, that means eventually introducing this material in to my paintings. Like with all forms of art I believe before you start breaking the rules you need to master the basics. So here I am going nuts with basic pottery and believe me it's not as easy as it looks. I encountered flopping clay, flying clay, droopy clay and clay that somehow makes it in to the living room. I can't get it centred, the walls are too thick and the desired hight of a pot is not happening - but I tell you, I am having so much fun with it that I barely sleep, this is the first time I sat by the computer in a week; family and friends think I am sick or on vacation - and me? I never want to stop. Finally become a pot head.

These pieces that you see here are not planed, they somewhat happened (by themselves). They are not firerd yet, glazing is another step I am looking forward to. Stay tuned I will post the finished pieces - that is if they don't explode in the kiln first.
